Hirsch’s uTrust TS Contact SC Readers deliver world-class security and compliance tailored for government physical access control and mission-critical facilities. Designed for high-security environments, these readers combine an onboard contact smart card interface with support for FICAM, PIV, PIV-I, CIV, CAC, and TWIC credentials, enabling authentication via Certificate Authentication Key (CAK) and PIV Authentication Key (PAK).

These readers use SmartOS™ technology to enforce strict standards including FIPS 201, FIPS 140-2, and NIST SP800-116, while offering both Wiegand and RS-485/OSDP data protocols for flexible integration.

Available in compact gang-box form factors, the uTrust TS Contact SC series includes options such as the Wall-Mount SC and Wall-Mount Keypad SC, the latter supporting two-factor authentication with added PIN functionality. Each model features rugged UL94 polycarbonate housing, color LED indicators, buzzer feedback, and environmental durability across a wide temperature and humidity range.
